17th Week of Pregnancy: The size of your abdomen will be increased

 During this week your baby’s weighs around 140grams and 13 cm length. This week of pregnancy your baby’s heart beats in 140-150 times per minute. The baby’s eyes are moving from the side of his head to the front, and are facing forward now. His/her hearing is now developing, and he/she is listening to the sound of your heartbeats. Your baby’s brain, muscles, nervous and circulatory systems are now functioning. The umbilical cord is growing stronger and thicker.

      During this week the size of your abdomen will be increased. This week the pregnant lady main problems are the vaginal discharge, sweat, mucus and more bodily fluid. Your weight is gained about 5-10 pounds. This period the blood pressure may be lower. Your uterus moves upward, therefore, you get urinate frequently.

                          This week your baby starts moving its lips, feet and head. Baby has a regular sleeping pattern. This week baby starts blinking, swallowing, and sucking.
