The TT (tetanus Toxoid) vaccine during pregnancy is a must. Tetanus
bacteria can intimidate your life for a serious bacterial disease. Clostridium
Tetani, name of a bacterium toxin may affect prenatal development and immune
system. Tetanus bacteria enter an open wound which is infected. While Clostridium Tetani (tetanus infection)
affects nervous system of a human body. If tetanus bacteria affected mother’s
body during pregnancy, it may dangerous your fetal development. Untreated
situations can left fetal.
During your pregnancy, The TT Vaccine is given to
prevent tetanus infections for you as well as your baby. If you take a complete
course of TT vaccine during pregnancy, the powers of its potential will safeguard
you and your baby. it is not only during pregnancy but a few months after birth
also. TT vaccine also prevents early (premature) delivery.
In case of your first pregnancy, your will take two doses of the vaccine. The
first dose is given in the first trimester period. You can take this soon after
your pregnancy conformation test with your first consultation of a gynecologist.
After The first six weeks of your
pregnancy the second dose of the vaccine is given. If you take a third dose of
TT vaccine after your sixth month will protect you for at least five years.
